DEEKSHA ANAND

Deeksha Anand is a partner at the firm. 

Her practice focuses on advising, and acting for, clients across diverse industries, including, apparel, automobile, pharmaceutical and sport, on all aspects of brands and their protection, including their registration, management, exploitation and enforcement. Deeksha has extensive experience in handling prosecution, overseeing management of large trademark portfolios, oppositions, cancellations, online take-downs, domain name disputes and transfers, consumer brand surveys and complex multijurisdictional trademark disputes.

Deeksha has also represented some of the firm’s clients in negotiating settlements of high-stake conflict matters. In addition to being a well-rounded trademark lawyer, Deeksha also has experience in copyright and design prosecution, IP transactional work, such as negotiating, drafting and advising on commercial contracts, and advising clients on advertising laws and best advertising practices in India.

Deeksha often appears before various judicial and quasi-judicial bodies, such as the Delhi High Court, district courts and the Trade Marks Registry. She has also assisted with conducting court ordered commissions and seizing large quantities of infringing goods.

Deeksha heads the firm’s recruitment and internship committees. In addition, Deeksha is the presiding officer of the firm’s Internal Committee constituted under the Prevention of Sexual Harassment Act, 2013.
